Beatus Shop & Museum
Feel, see and hear - the St. Beatus Caves Museum brings geology, research and the Beatus legend to life with interactive stations.

Before you enter the cave - the museum
How is a stalactite cave formed? What do finds from the Stone Age reveal? And who was St Beatus really? In the St Beatus Caves Museum you will find the answers - and the perfect introduction to your cave experience. Interactive stations invite you to touch, listen and discover.
The museum is located right by the cave entrance and is the ideal place to start before your cave tour. An app guide in German, English and French accompanies you through the exhibition. The museum visit is included in the admission to the cave - or can be booked as a stand-alone experience from CHF 6 for adults and CHF 3 for children.
What awaits you in the museum
Three themed worlds take you from geology to legend.

Your personal museum guide
The exhibition at your pace, in your language.
The app guide accompanies you through all the stations of the museum and tells the stories behind the exhibits. From the geological formation of the cave system to the prehistoric discoveries - each station comes to life as you listen to the explanations.
Three languages available
The app guide is available in German, English and French and is included in the admission price. This means that international visitors can also enjoy the full depth of the exhibition - from the scientific context to the Beatus legend.
