Brunch on the rock

A sumptuous brunch in a unique setting, directly on the rock, with a view of Lake Thun. For groups of 15 or more, Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 12 noon. CHF 49 (adults) / CHF 29 (children 6-16 yrs.) / free (under 6 yrs.).

Cave raclette

Raclette à discrétion in the atmospherically lit grotto by candlelight. Includes drinks and a raclette oven as a souvenir. A culinary experience that can only be enjoyed in the St. Beatus Caves.

Flexible opening hours for groups

Your programme determines the schedule, not the other way round. The restaurant also opens in the evening for group bookings. The cave tours can be booked from Monday to Sunday - we will coordinate the exact times with you individually. Frequently asked questions about the group excursion

How many people are required for a group offer?

The minimum group size varies depending on the tour: "Short & Precise" and "Schnitzel & Hunting" from 20 people, "Culinary & Sensual" from 10 people. A minimum price applies in each case (CHF 600, CHF 980 or CHF 650). For culinary offers such as the brunch on the rock in the restaurant, a minimum of 15 people is required.

Can you combine a cave tour and a meal?

Yes, this is actually the most popular option. Many groups combine a themed tour with a subsequent lunch, dinner or aperitif in a restaurant. The "Culinary & Sensual" tour combines both in one experience. We will be happy to put together an individual programme for you.

Is the cave suitable for older people?

The cave is well developed and illuminated. However, there are 297 steps to climb and the path from the car park to the entrance is steep (8 to 10 minutes). People with reduced mobility should take this into account. The temperature in the cave is 8-10 °C, warm clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended.

Are there car parks for touring cars?

Yes, coach parking spaces are available at the St. Beatus Caves. Access is also possible for larger coaches without any problems. We recommend that you state your arrival time when you book so that we can plan the programme optimally.
