New theme tours from April 2024

We are expanding our range of guided themed tours in the St. Beatus Caves with five unique experiences that can be booked by visitors from April 2024. The new tours offer a wide range of discovery opportunities to experience the diversity of the caves in different ways.

The «Short & precise» tour offers an ideal opportunity for visitors with limited time to discover the beauty of the St. Beatus Caves. In a tour lasting approximately one hour, experienced tour guides lead participants through the caves, providing interesting information on the geological features, historical background and unique characteristics.
 

The tour can be booked daily from Monday to Sunday - the following start times are available:
11h / 13h / 15.30h (the «first-come principle» applies). The tour lasts approx. 1 hour and can be booked in German or English.

Minimum number of persons is 20 or minimum price CHF 580

A public tour of this tour is offered daily for individuals (not bookable for groups of 10 or more) at
10h / 14h / 16h (additionally every Friday and Saturday at 18h). Reservations are not mandatory. The tour lasts approx. 1 hour.

The «Water & Geology» tour offers a fascinating journey through the subterranean worlds of the St. Beatus Caves. Experienced tour guides lead participants to the geological highlights and tell stories about the formation of the caves, while the gentle sound of water in the background adds to the atmosphere.

The tour can be booked daily from Monday to Sunday - the following start times are available:
11h / 13h / 15.30h (the «first-come principle» applies). The tour lasts approx. 2 hours. This Tour is only available in German.

The «Sagas & Legends» tour takes visitors into a world full of secrets and mystical tales that have surrounded the St. Beatus Caves for centuries. Experienced tour guides tell stories of heroes, fairies and hidden treasures as visitors explore the impressive caves.

11h / 13h / 15.30h (the «first-come principle» applies). The tour lasts approx. 2 hours. This Tour is only available in German.

The «Fox & Trail» tour offers a unique combination of adventure and discovery. Visitors of all ages can take part in this interactive tour where they follow clues, solve puzzles and explore secret corners of the St. Beatus Caves to be rewarded at the end.
