Individual visitors to St Beatus Caves

Visits to the St. Beatus Caves as individual can take place without a tour guide. In the cave there are 25 information panels in German and English for this. Depending on the situation, the management reserves the right to to decide whether an individual visit is possible (e.g. during heavy rain).

NEW – the “Saint Beatus” app is available for free download in the App Store or Google Play. It provides you with more interactive information about the cave tour.

NEW – photography and filming are permitted in the cave. Please show consideration for other guests, however. Tripods are forbidden in the cave (must be deposit at the ticket desk).

We have just the right thing for you: Every Friday and Saturday evening, the St. Beatus Caves are open until 9 pm (special price from 5pm for adults CHF 15.- / last admission at 8:15 pm).
